Elvie's Christmas Dream Come True is a showcase of Elvie Batuampo's collections that she amassed, and continues to expand, for more than 20 years.
All displays, from the smallest figurines to the most expensive Christmas décor were brought straight from the United States and pieced together to offer kids and family a wonderful sight to behold this holiday.
The Christmas wonderland, situated at
Zamora Street on the site of Litte Learners Playing and Learning
Center, Inc., has seven rooms, all containing unique Christmas pieces
that were personally handpicked by Elvie.
A visit to this place begins with a
warm welcome by Elvie herself and the school's director Nenet
Delgado. A small documentary is shown featuring her life and the
evolution of her Christmas collections, before Elvie takes you on
tour.
First stop is the winter wonderland where a woodland Santa
gives warmth to the chilly weather. Rich with igloos, snowmen, and
everything you want to see in snow, the winter room leads you to the
living area where a giant Christmas tree bedecked with candy canes
await you and an elaborate nativity scene welcome you.
Adjacent to
the living is the display of Victorian village, all complete with
charming houses, skating rink, and trains. g back to the living and
proceed to the staircase and you'll be amazed with the Girl's room,
home to
Elvie's collection of Barbie dolls in their festive holiday
suits. Right next is the Boy's room which displays expensive toy cars
that Elvie spared to penny to buy. Also worth taking an eye is the
singing Christmas that does a job once you clap your hands. Last stop
is Santa's workroom where Grandpa and Grandma Claus await kids who
want to make their wish these holiday.
