There’s no doubt that the mangos of Guimaras are the
sweetest! Last April, a group of friends from Manila and I went on a day tour
in the island-province and our first stop, more than anything else, was at this
fruit stall in Jordan. And what’s laid before us were kilos upon kilos of the
most saccharine mangos you could ever munch! They’re export quality and very
affordable. I bought mine for only P50 a kilo and the lady even offered one
kilo free for every 10 kilos of purchase. Now, it’s a must for any traveler in
this island to take this home or your Guimaras holiday is never complete.
